Directions to the Fair and Parking

Take US29 Business (Emmet Street) south from the 250 Bypass. Bear right onto McCormick Rd. The Chemistry Building is ahead on McCormick Rd on the left. However parking is generally behind the building in the stadium area. See detail below.

The Chemistry building is 10 on the map below and between Gilmer Hall (17) and Wilsdorf Hall (48)

The view below is the Chemistry Building from Whitehead Road (with parked cars in the foreground). Geldard Street runs from the lower right to the upper left and beside the Aquatic Center Chillers and the Biology greenhouse by Gilmer Hall. 

                    

To drive to the unloading area at Geldard Street continue past the Chemistry Building on McCormick and turn left at the next intersection on Alderman Road and pass in front of the Aquatic Center before turning left on Whitehead Road beside the stadium and then left on Geldard Street. See map route below.

To enter the Chemistry Building from Geldard Street, walk down Geldard Street beside the Chillers and then dogleg left beside the greenhouse and then right up a few steps and left up a set of steps to the terrace. Look right and enter the glass doors to the third floor of the Chemistry Building. Registration is in the third floor atrium.

After unloading, buses and cars must move to the designated parking areas. Please park only in the designated areas or you may be ticketed or towed. Buses and cars may park in stadium lot S-6. Cars may also park in stadium lot E-3.

Volunteers, please park in the E-3 lot or the S-6 lot and enter the Chemistry Building via Geldard Street as described above.
